Fool’s wellbeing and his change becomes obvious.
In the last couple of scenes Lear comes to an understanding and is reunited with Cordelia. He says, “I am a very foolish fond old man.” (Line 61, 4.7) Lear has now realized that his mistakes and he can let his mind be at ease. The doctor tells Cordelia that his rage is now gone and he can let his troubles go. Lear is finally free from his pain.
