All the expensive china and glassware, used at the Kehlsteinhaus, was stolen for souvenirs by the Allies. The main reception hall in which they once sat is now a restaurant. The interior walls are covered with a granite facade. This style of massive, solid, heavy-handed architecture was favored by the Nazu leaders. The Kehlsteinhaus is literally a Nazi stronghold.
