The importance of dreams is expressed in both these pieces, thought the use of different literary devices. A dream is a wish your heart makes. Romeo’s dreams of falling in love with Juliet would bring them both much more than they had ever hoped for. In the poem, "Dream Deferred", the author uses a significant amount of symbolism to express a broken dream. No dream should ever be put on hold indefinitely.
