As you can plainly see a tragedy whether it involves love or revenge is still a tragedy due to the fact that the hero dies in the end for his cause. Only if Hamlet hadn’t know the truth about his father’s dead or if Romeo would have gotten that letter in time both of these stories would have never existed as great works of tragedy.
