OZONE LAYER The ozone is made from oxygen, but for billions of years there was no actuall oxygen in the earth's atmosphere. The earth's primitive atmosphere is said by scientist that it was composed of water vapor,carbon dioxide,sulfur dioxide, nitrogen,and other gases released by volcanic and other activitys from the planets hot interior. THis ultraviolet radiation had enough energy to break up any complex molecules that may have formed and prevented complaex livefrom developing.
