Goals: The task that we have chosen for our QFM project is to reduce the amount of wasted bagels by giving them to homeless people through homeless shelters and to help the homeless community in whatever way we can Background: The New York Bagel Shop located on 34 Street South throws away all excess bagels at the end of each day. Several times, we have gotten bags of bagels that would have been thrown out otherwise. …

…the community even if it is not a noticeable site for other people or other groups of communities. The other things that we were very glad to achieve is to get into the lives of these people and to see what they have been through and then try and appreciate each and every staff member of the YWCA in helping those people to live in better surroundings and to make better people out of themselves.
