There are multiple similarities and differences in the stories The Epic of Gilgamesh, translated by N.K. Sandars, and the Book of Genesis from The Bible. This can account for the similarities in both “stories.” After reading both stories, the question that comes to mind is: How does one face the inevitable fact that he or she will die? The way people live their lives shows the character behind those people, but also their belief system. Some people live in fear, while others worship and respect the Creator.
