Since human civilization began, men and women have had different gender roles concerning their occupations and place in society. It seems that until recently the general conception between males and females was that the male was the stronger, or more superior of the two genders. Some people feel that this is because of the way each gender is raised or taught by society.

while women have the less physical jobs such as secretaries or being the homemaker. In most cultures women are seen as the ones who should take care of the kids, house, cooking, cleaning, etc, while the men work for money. There probably wouldn’t be so much of a problem with things now, however, if we didn’t see housekeeping and things of that nature as being less honorable or noble than working.
