In the world of the social problems industry (SPI), timing is everything. Pushing
your problem in the public eye to gain more attention and prevalence, after all, society
can only handle so much. As luck would have it, the “Casino” issue is something that has

…showed last 75 words of 2087 total…lose , it’s not the end of the
world. The idea that a casino would bring jobs and help the community isn’t really a
concern for me, although they are nice. It’s just that there’s not much to do in Wausau if
you don’t like sitting in a dim lit, smoke filled, bar. I’d much rather sit in a well lighted,
smoked filled, casino. After all, the soda is free!
