In his writing, Freud raises the question as to whether or not animals have dreams. As the owner of an animal, I must say that I believe that animals definitely do have dreams. I have observed my dog many times while he is asleep and have many reasons to believe that animals do, in fact, dream.

mind that they don’t want to talk about. They will probably have nightmares as well. Since I only know that my dog is dreaming by his cries, I always assume he only has bad dreams. Although I cannot prove that animals have good dreams, I believe that they do exist. If a dog’s brain has the capacity to dream bad dreams, then I am sure it can also dream good ones.
