…now in the Revolutionaries hands and the Kings power was withdrawn. The National Assembly continued and met the needs of the people. The Revolution achieved a vast change and ended absolutism. It stopped high taxation of the people, and encouraged free trade. It helped the economy and was for the people. France was hurt in all aspects and needed this Great Revolution.
