With a simple paragraph Frederick Douglass succeeded in showing the hypocritical idea and beliefs in God while at the same time he subtly accuses the “white men” of these deeds. In the end he succeeded as an abolitionist and a writer in describing his own transformation from a slave to an established abolitionists.
