Roosevelt's New Deal programs dealt with banking reform laws, emergency relief programs, work relief programs, and agricultural programs, all attempts for relief, recovery, and reform from the Depression. Many agreed with Roosevelt's immediate response to the critical situation, allowing the federal government to aid the economy, but not deliberately control it.
