In Frankenstein by Marry Shelly it is noticeable that Victor Frankenstein and the Monster have strong and weak points that give readers the impression that it is possible they are the same person, though they are not. A strong point that Victor and the Monster have is the ability to learn from others, this played a large part in these two characters lives.

In the end the Victor had lost the people that were close to his heart and he became emotional. When the Monster had lost all the people that were close to his heart he also became emotional. Victor and the Monster both reacted in the same ways when their strong and weak points (learning, revenge, emotions) were noticed, which gives the impression that they were the same person just in different forms.
