very valuable. The Spanish were treated like gods. They could have simply asked the Aztecs to stop the human sacrifices and it would have been done, but they were too greedy. They wanted the gold, and they wanted it only for themselves. The Spanish did not think of how their actions would effect those around them; although, maybe others, through this essay, will understand the pain and suffering that selfish acts can inflect on people.
