eventually liberated, and Jacobs was granted his freedom. He was free from the Nazi regime. But Benjamin Jacobs will never be free from the choices he had to make to survive his nightmare. The choices Jacobs made were all justified. In a situation such as that, it is survival of the fittest. Those who are willing to bend their morals and make decisions that may seem wrong at the time will, in the end, live.
