Equal Funding Today, universities throughout the country have to face the problem of equality in athletics. Colleges are being forced to re-evaluate the funds that are being distributed to each program. Men and women’s athletic programs are finally being required to be given the same amount of opportunity, meaning money. I hope that in the next ten years we will no longer even discuss this. I know that once this is over we will start to see even better female athletes rise and prove themselves. All we need is a little support and a little opportunity.
