For this summative task we were asked to chose a special event that is held regularly on the South Coast and examine and describe the range of economic impacts this event has on the local community. …showed last 75 words of 1265 total…Encounter Schoolies is a well organised ands managed event that has proven to be a success for the schoolies, and many of the local businesses in the area benefit greatly from it. I think that over the years it management and organisation of this event has improved greatly and will continue to improve over the years. Schoolies week makes a significant contribution to the increase in our local economy during the time of the event.
