…showed last 75 words of 652 total…side of Dredd Scott. Northern whites rejected the decision. Three of the northern justices actively refused to agree with crucial parts of the decision. Northern whites disposed of the decision and were suspicious of the circumstances that “produced it.”
I think this decision was a good interpretation of the constitutional decision and that it was lawful and just. It (I feel) helped change the face of the African- American people and their rights to freedom.
