I strongly believe that Emily did have a right to sue the university. They clearly discriminated against her by obligating Emily to take additional medical test that were not mandatory to other employees. The university discriminated against Emily and this sort of conduct can not be allowed. Emily's rights under the Title VII act were violated. Employers must treat all employees the same without distinction at all times.
