In the end she finally finds out who Daddy-Long-Legs this gracious man is and it turns out she’s known him all four years of college it’s Master Jervie. She’s in shock and can’t believe it’s really him; now she considers him to be a real parent to her and she deep affection toward him and he returns it toward her.
