For my first compare and contrast assignment (#2), I did the Egyptian figure “torso of a general” and the Greek “Marble statue of Kouros.” These statues have some imilarities, and many differences. “Torso of a general” was sculpted in the beginning of the 4th century when Persian occupation was being overthrown. …showed last 75 words of 1026 total…a wreath which probably originally contained some decorative motif or monogram. This mirror looks better than any mirror I have seen, even in this day and age. In conclusion, this museum project was a good experience for me and helped me learn about things I had the slightest clue about before. I had never been to the museum before this and it was good to see these things in person, not just in a book.
