In comparing and contrasting “Those Winter Sundays” and “Bone Black” they are very similar in that they both talk about a father and his family. “Those Winter Sundays” is a poem about a father who tried to care about his children, but on the other hand “Bone Black” was about a very violent husband who beat his wife very badly making his children’s life a living hell. the author in “Those Winter Sundays”. In conclusion, both of the stories authors point out two different cases in which we see how a father should act and how one should not act. Comparing the two there is not much but they do share a common interest in that they both are hard working fathers. In conclusion the two stories have contrasting ideas, one story the father beats his wife and the other doesn’t.
