…was still living a rough life. In conclusion, the stories that we have read throughout our literary journey are filled with suffering. Heinrich Himmler himself suffered, and in turn passed the suffering on to millions of people. The peddler suffered needlessly, as did the men of Trifles. There are a few common themes that tie the stories together, and I find the main connection to be the suffering of people in different and similar ways.
