There are several reasons as to why the colonies of the Chesapeake and the colonies of New England differed so greatly. The
reasons all had to do with the climates, the religions, the people, and their motives for coming to the areas in which they settled.

north, and fortune was the biggest cause for colonization in the south.
It is interesting to see, when looking back at history, that by as early as the 17th century the north and south already had a rivalry
of sorts going. Both regions were made up of colonies that were very different from eachother.But all were affected by the same
entities.
