The way history is taught to children today is very wrong in my opinion. They try to turn it around and make it seem as though it all happened in a very easy kind way. …be taught something it should be the truth. This book in all was a good book but it could have gone into depth about what really happened with the Natives. Although the book de-emphasized issues, and portrayed as a different person, they did in all teach a good lesson. The lesson will help the child in the long run. History, in my opinion should be taught in its full context or not taught at all.
