I agree with this quote in terms of the character Jerry in the novel the Chocolate War by, Robert Cormier, because Jerry Renault a regular old kid who wasn’t trying to hurt anyone when deciding not to sell the chocolates, was actually going for what he believed in. Jerry

showed how they have good and evil in them and sometimes evil takes over or good ends up prevailing. Over all I feel that I agree with this quote. I also feel that this quote is not a quote that just fits or doesn’t fit for the story. I feel it is more of a quote that should be directed towards the characters. This quote was very interesting and had fit the story perfectly.
