Expectations I took this class last spring so I thought I knew what to expect when I went to teach the 8th grade at Doyle Middle School. However, I realized very quickly that different groups of students behave differently. The 8th graders were more outspoken than the 6th graders which made the whole experience a little different. …Rensselaer so far. I enjoyed interacting with the students and I think that I learned a lot from this experience. This is a learning experience for the JA teacher, the students, and the middle school teacher. If all the people involved with this program realize that the learning experience applies to everyone, the Junior Achievement program will continue to be successful. I am very happy I was given the opportunity to participate in this program.
