Cars Then and Now
The automobile is the most important means of personal transportation for many people around
the world. People depend on there cars and trucks to get them to work, run errands, to visit friends and
relatives, and to take vacations.
The origin of automobiles can be traced to Europe. But it became a major form of transportation

industry. They also hope to export vehicles to earn money to buy needed imports. The developing
nation of South Korea attempted to get into the car industry and it was a major success. During the
1990’s South Korea exported a third of it car production the the United States.
I have concluded that if the World did not have the automobile it would be fifty years behind
where we are now.
