Through the logical layout of chapters, each building upon knowledge of the previous, Kingdom has managed to turn the complex labyrinth of British politics into an understandable wealth of knowledge. Through his stupendous book, Kingdom has opened an avenue beyond all the jargon and waffle politicians are known for, towards understanding a subject which he feels 'to be denied the right to...is one of the first symptoms of oppression' (pg 1).
