for mental growth. All are limited to set barriers. Although this would appear to be a perfect society at first, but it becomes obvious later on in the novel that the race will no longer evolve. Nobody will have new ideas, nobody will improve on society, nothing will change. This is not what the human race desires. It desires to acquire knowledge, unceasingly and never ending. Without this advantage, we will go mad.
