In a world where political correctness often whitewashes the darker side of reality, we have soft alternatives for the bleak word “prison.” We prefer “penitentiary” or “correctional facility,” where “vocational training” and “social services” are provided. We even favor the term inmate over the dehumanizing word “prisoner.” Yet, look under the veneer, and you will find that prisons are facing serious problems today, such as the skyrocketing cost of keeping

Conclusion
In concluding with this LAP I would like to say that there are many good issues and many bad issues that affect prisons. People as a whole must act on issues that affect our society and deprive us of freedom. Speaking up to our legislators to create new and affirmative actions to prevent people (offenders) from repeating crimes. And maybe then we can put and end and abolish crime once and for all.
