I do believe that most malls, catalogues, and home shopping networks create identities for individuals. I found it ironic how men decides the women’s role in society and these decisions are suppose to benefit men, but men’s downfall was having women to shop for men’s needs. Yes, one the duties women had to do was go shopping because of that women found their identities which then cause subversion.
