The Analyses of The Odyssey
Most of the poetry that we read today have only one theme in them. But as in the case of the Odyssey, we can see that it has more then one theme. Although The Odyssey has many themes, loyalty has to be the best theme that is shown in the poem.
In the second stanza of Homers The Odyssey it is written:
“He saw the townlands
and learned the minds
showed first 75 words of 694 total

Odysseus is loyal to his men because he doesn’t allow his men to waste their lives by eating the flower, but rather come with him and do courageous things so that they will die Honorably.
By using all these literary terms, the author shows the reader how loyalty is the best theme from all of the rest. Because The Odyssey has many themes in it, loyalty is used as its best theme of all.
