Analyizing: Hemingway's "Cat in the Rain"

Hemingway portrays this couple as having differences of priorities and also a difference in the amount of attention they give to one another. Being stuck in a hotel room is hardly that, for being in such a small room the two were able to be completely separate in their thoughts and actions.
