it displayed precisely the emotions and actions that Ambrose describes in the story. I enjoyed the film’s simplicity and thought it was very well done. I am fascinated by the many images that are told in detail of the events in Farquhar’s mind. It is hard to believe this descriptive fantasy takes place in a matter of seconds before the plank is released beneath his feet only to bring on his quick death.
