In the novel, Brave New World we learn about two civilizations that seem corrupt to our current capitalistic American society. Americans reading this story may not be able to fathom the two societies with such different rules and ideologies than our own. We will probably never be taking a drug to find happiness in life, and cloning will never become a common practice as a method of producing children. Our future will not bring Utopia, but at least it will not bring with it the baggage of Huxley’s Brave New World.
