Prohibition was the United States’ eighteenth Amendment, banning the drinking, manufacture, or sale of “intoxicating liquors” (beverages containing .5% or more alcohol). With less alcohol consumption a better future is created for everyone. There are less alcohol related health problems and fewer people are plagued by addictions, to either alcohol or drugs. Hopefully, alcohol use among teens will continue to steadily drop and preserve the future of America’s youth.
