It also brightened up my mind and explained to me that if you really do want something, then you should never give up on your dream. From my opinion, i believe that Abraham Lincoln's beliefs were very important to our modern society today. I wish though, that slavery had never been an issue. It would have made a lot of things in the United States a little easier.
