The Day of the T riffids is a very scary example of issues that exist in our society at this time in history. Human civilization will always be face with catastrophe, whether it be natural or man made. I would not like to be around if or when this takes place. I hope that those who are can manage as well as Bill and the other survivors in The Day of the Triffids.
