I feel that this passage was important in understanding why the story gained so much intensity, and then everything just came crashing to a brutal end. I also feel that this passage was important in understanding peoples’ words and actions in the play. Being able to relate this passage to modern times has also shown why it is necessary to be able to have the same understanding today.
