It is Christmas Eve, and Scrooge is overseeing the business. He is accompanied by his employer, Bob Cratchit, who is in charge of writing out records and accounts. Scrooge then receives several visitors. One of these visitor’s is Scrooge’s nephew, Fred, who invites Scrooge to dine with him for Christmas, but Scrooge refuses.
