America. But it raised the spirit of the whole nation up. We came
together
as one and wanted to show these people who could do this to us that we
weren’t afraid and that we were still strong. Our sports teams helped
show
the strength of our nation. Not just in one sport but all of the
sports.

were
driving around with flags on their cars; people had a flag hanging from
every house. Something that the younger generation had never seen
before. We
turned on our T.V. and saw professional athletes wearing the colors of
our
nation, running out with huge American flags before the game. We saw
this
and wanted to keep it going off the field as well.
